This tool is no longer being developed, but some things I'd like to add if I pick it up again are:

  • Class, race and background selection
  • Name entry
  • Character portraits
  • Inspiration indicator
  • Status effect indicator
  • XP tracker
  • Simple inventory system
  • Ambient/battle music selection, sound effects (and a mute option)

is there any chance that this will have further updates? or has it been abandoned

Hey, I had planned to update it but didn't have much chance over the last year or so. Coincidentally I opened it again a few days ago but the GB Studio update made a lot of it break. I plan to go back to it at some point though, hopefully soon.

Is there anything missing you'd like to see in it?

thanks for such a quick reply! and apologies for my very slow one, its been a long while. the main things that i noticed missing were action slots, and an inventory system!

i apologise if my question sounded blunt/rude, that was not my intention. i totally understand the system breaking, so please take your time with this project! i cannot wait to see it grow!

This looks awesome! I love the font and all the art. Also great idea with the edit mode, really cool.
